Don’t Let Little Forget This Endorsement
Brad Little may want to hide his primary campaign signs like some politicians hide photos with Jeffrey Epstein. The embarrassing part in Mr. Little’s case is the “Trump Endorsed” message.
A week ago, President Trump threatened to destroy a civilization. Since then, he has verbally abused the Pope, compared himself (favorably) to Jesus, and blockaded the already-frozen Strait of Hormuz. And, out of the blue, the First Lady told everyone who never asked that she is neither an Epstein victim nor villain. That’s one week.
Look, I don’t expect Mr. Little to suddenly be bold. I do expect him to see that we are threatened–even his wealthy friends–by this global game of economic Russian Roulette. (Sure, stock traders may be brushing off fuel prices today, but the rest of us can’t afford to ignore fuel prices).
I doubt Mr. Little is on the list of calls that Trump will answer today. I am certain, however, that if a Republican governor speaks out against the madness, Trump will call him.
Right now, Mr. Little has a chance to help Idaho and the world. He should do that because it’s his job to do that.
Just ignore the “messaging” from the truth-twisters out there. It’s a fair bet that rising inflation will soon snowball into every part of our lives. Our neighbors won’t help us even if they could. Ever since the Republican tariffs, allies like Canada are disentangling themselves from the U.S. as fast as they can. What madness threatens war on allies? Or threatens to “take” Greenland? There is no genius in chaos.
So, if you can afford the fuel, take a drive to find a Brad Little campaign sign. It will read: “Trump Endorsed. Brad Little for Governor.”
The President has harmed all Americans. Pocketbook pain is chasing away past supporters. It will soon be foolish for a governor candidate to brag about Trump’s endorsement. In Idaho where Trump support was bigly, Trump’s betrayal will feel huge.
So, Mr. Little, your campaign signs basically say that you endorse Trump’s high inflation, his scurrillous betrayal of allies, the wanton destruction of economic partnerships, and the rapid-fire attack on our individual freedoms.
Those signs might help Mr. Little in next month’s primary election. But by November, voters will have spent five months paying for the expensive cost of chaos.
So, tell us again, Mr. Little, why do you endorse President Trump?
